Basketball drills for technique rebounding
- Starting lineup:
- 2 teams
- 1 shooter per team
- 1 or 2 rebounders per team (depending on number of players at practice and available goals)
- Progression:
- The shooter takes a shot
- If the shooter scores, he stays put
- If the shooter misses, rebounding is required
- The player who takes the rebound goes outside and takes a shot
- 1 point per score
- 1 point per rebound
- Whoever has 10 points first wins
- Progression:
- Three-pointers shot
- Starting lineup:
- 2 players with a ball
- 1 player without a ball
- All under the ring
- Progression:
- Players take a shot
- Player who takes the rebound may take the next shot
- 1 point per score
- Whoever has 10 points first wins

- Players stand further from the goal
- Shooting outside the bucket
- 2 teams
- 3 on 3 full court
- one shot or turnover
- when the ball is lost or scored the team on offence steps out and walks back to their defensive side
- Starting lineup:
- 1 player stands ready to take the free throw
- 1 player on the left is ready to take the rebound
- 1 player on the right stands ready to take the rebound
- Other players join left and right
- Course:
- Player 1 takes the free throw
- If player 1 scores, he stands and shoots again
- If player 1 misses, then players on the left and right fight for the rebound
- After taking the rebound, the game is played 1 against 1
- The player who scores takes a free throw next
- The player who missed the free throw connects left or right
- The player who did not take the rebound connects on the other side
- Whoever has 10 scores first wins
- Progression:
- Only 1 dribble may be set after the rebound
- Three-point shot
- One player stands on the back line.
- A row of players stand on the right corner of the bucket and left.
- The first player gets the ball, feints to one side and then makes a layup or set shot on the other side.
- Catch own ball, pass to the man on back line and stand in the other row.
- Then it's the other side's turn.
- Make pairs.
- Player under the basket passes to the player on the free-throw line.
- The attacker has an advantage in time and can shoot freely.
- If the attacker scores or he has the offensive rebound he stays shooter, if the defender has the rebound the players switch positions.
- Who has the most scores after 3 minutes?
- Losers 10 push ups
- 2 teams.
- Everyone a ball
- Shooting from 7 positions.
- When you have shot you go for your own Rebound, if you have caught your Rebound without the ball touching the ground you may score again immediately.
- 15 touches per position per team.
- So you can score 2 points at a time.
- Half Court shot, 1 hit no Rebound.
- Losing side receives a gift :)
A game is played on a half court.
- If the defense gains possession of the ball, the team must first score via a Quick break on the other basket with no defense.
- After scoring, this team remains on offense at half court.
- The team that first has 5 scores via a Quick break wins and the losers get to run 2 whole suicides.
- 3 Players.
- 3 pylons in between the 3pt line and center line.
- Coach shoots at the basket and the 3 players fight for the rebound.
- The player who has the rebound dribbles around the middle pylon and returns to the board to finish.
- Again the players fight for the rebound and the player who has the rebound goes around the middle pylon.
* 1 minute at high pace.
* The player with the most scores wins and the other 2 players 5 push ups.

- 3-3 half court
- Cone setting
- Team that intercepts the ball first goes behind the cone before they are allowed to score.
- The player who has the ball may dribble for up to 5 seconds then they must have passed or shot. This only counts if they have been behind the cone.
- In groups of 3.
- One player passes to himself through the board, takes the rebound and gives an outlet pass by pivoting well.
- Second player receives the outlet pass and gives it to the third who was behind the first.
- Everyone slides through.
- Practice continues continuously.
- 2 teams.

- Shoot from 7 positions.
- When you have shot, you go for your own Rebound.
- If you have caught your Rebound without the ball touching the ground, you may score again immediately.
- So you can score 2 points at a time.
