Basketball drills for technique shooting
- Starting lineup:
- 2 teams
- 1 shooter per team
- 1 or 2 rebounders per team (depending on number of players at practice and available goals)
- Progression:
- The shooter takes a shot
- If the shooter scores, he stays put
- If the shooter misses, rebounding is required
- The player who takes the rebound goes outside and takes a shot
- 1 point per score
- 1 point per rebound
- Whoever has 10 points first wins
- Progression:
- Three-pointers shot

Players in two lines in the middle of the court:
- Player 1 runs without the ball to the top of the key
- Receives a pass from player 2 in the other line
- Performs a first step (sidestep, cross over step, spin, etc.)
- Drives to the basket
Player 2 does the same on the other side of the court.

- Players start in four rows.
- Players 1 and 2 pass to players 3 and 4.
- Players cross to the opposite elbow to receive the ball for a shot.
- The passers get the rebound and move to the end of the top rows.
- The shooters move to the end of the corner rows.

- Starting lineup:
- Everyone has a ball
- Everyone stands back to back at elbow level
- Maximum of 4 players per group
- Progression:
- The first player shoots from the right elbow
- The player takes his own rebound and runs to the right elbow
- The other players shoot one after the other
- The first player shoots from the left elbow
- ALWAYS spin-the-ball first before shooting
- Progression:
- Coach calls the next position (always left and right mirrored)
- Three-pointers
- With pass back to coach
- Regression:
- With 2 instead of 4 players

- Players divide among all available goals
- Sequence:
- 1 player moves around the bucket and shoots
- The rebounder has to finish if the other player misses
- The rebounder then passes back to the other player
- Each player takes 20 shots and counts how many he scores
- Progression:
- More shots
- Regression:
- Fewer shots
- Rebounding without finishing

- One player stands on the back line.
- A row of players stand on the right corner of the bucket and left.
- The first player gets the ball, feints to one side and then makes a layup or set shot on the other side.
- Catch own ball, pass to the man on back line and stand in the other row.
- Then it's the other side's turn.

- First Jumpstop, Fake and to the basket.
- Jumpstop, shot.
- Ball in the run and to the basket.
- Baseline dribble and finish with "wrong hand".

- Everyone a ball
- Shooting from 7 positions.
- When you have shot you go for your own Rebound, if you have caught your Rebound without the ball touching the ground you may score again immediately.
- 15 touches per position per team.
- So you can score 2 points at a time.
- Half Court shot, 1 hit no Rebound.
- Losing side receives a gift :)

- 3 players per team
- 1 player from each group stands on the baseline on each side with ball each time
- 1 player starts in the middle and chooses a side to run to, then gets the ball from the baseline player and takes a shot
- the player on the baseline who gave the pass runs to the other side to get the pass and take a shot.

- 3 Players.
- 3 pylons in between the 3pt line and center line.
- Coach shoots at the basket and the 3 players fight for the rebound.
- The player who has the rebound dribbles around the middle pylon and returns to the board to finish.
- Again the players fight for the rebound and the player who has the rebound goes around the middle pylon.
* 1 minute at high pace.
* The player with the most scores wins and the other 2 players 5 push ups.

- Cone setting
- Team that intercepts the ball first goes behind the cone before they are allowed to score.
- The player who has the ball may dribble for up to 5 seconds then they must have passed or shot. This only counts if they have been behind the cone.
