Basketball drills
This game form consists of two teams. These two teams can either compete against each other, or work together in a race against the clock.
1) Make two teams of about the same number of players.
2) Each team has a ball and its own hoop.
In the middle of the field there is a hoop with pawns in it. These are pawns in the shape of a hat.

- One player of each team dribbles to the hoop, zigzagging through the poles.
- The player takes one hat from the hoop and puts it on his/her head.
- The player dribbles with the hat back to his/her own hoop.
- The player dribbles back to his/her own hoop, takes the hat off his/her head and puts it in the hoop.
- The player gives the ball to the next player and the next player can leave.
Can be extended to four teams, with the two other teams dribbling in from the sides of the field.
- Stand on one leg, raise the other as high as possible.
- Ball with 2 hands above head.

- Ball in front of you to 15cm above ground, then up again.
- Drop 45gr to your left to 15cm above ground, then right.

- The players line up in two groups on the sideline near the halfway line.
- The first 2 players of the red group line up on one side of the field and have the ball.
- One player of the blue team lines up on the other side.
- As soon as the attacking team crosses the centre line, the 2nd player of the blue team runs around the cone in the centre circle and starts defending.
- Attacking players try to score before the 2nd player gets there.

- At each part someone is ready to start.
- You pass the ball from a distance to the next person.

- 1 player / spot
- Position 1 passes to position 2,
- fakes and cuts through to the basket.
- Meanwhile, position 3 takes the spot of position 1 and position 5 takes the spot of position 3.
- Cutting player takes up position 5 (= vacant spot).
- Perform this automatism 5 passes and then score via lay-up or jump-shot.

- 21 cone shot exercise, With each score the player walks behind a cone and places it on the side, The exercise is done when all the cones are distributed,

- There is one ticker without the ball and two players without the ball.
- Whoever has the ball cannot be tapped without it.
- The ball may be held for a maximum of ten counts.
- If the scapegoat intercepts a ball, the ball is out of the game.

Goal:
- Teach correct defensive position (denial + help defense)
Teaching points:
- Quickly change position when the ball changes sides, read defenses as attackers (backdoor)
- In/out to the bucket, when defending short, get out to 1m outside 3pt line and use backdoor option, jump to the ball as defender
Prerequisites:
- Some game insight at fill the spot, be able to apply defensive stance (denail - helpside)
Goal:
- offence: quickly see where there is an empty spot and cut through after a pass, defence: adjust stance according to how the ball is moving
Organization
- 4 players (U10) on a spot with defence, empty spot under the ring.
- Offence: pass the ball around and make a quick cutting move towards the empty spot below the ring, other attackers move up and the empty spot is filled in by the cutting attacker.
- Defence: adjust position according to the ball. (hands on the ball, denail, weakside help on the line ring-ring)
- 5 passes (calmly), then 4vs4
- Passing on: offence becomes defence, defence steps out and then becomes offence
- Possibly start with passive defence (hands on back) depending on players' level.

- Offence: good pass - in/out to deep bucket and high stepping out - placement of feet - attention to mistakes.
- Defence: anticipate the ball - check correct posture per spot before passing - jump-to-the-ball
