Handball drills
Goal is to put 3 in a row.
- Make 2 teams
- From each team, 1 player runs with a colored hat and places it in a hoop
- When the first player returns the 2nd player of the team starts, then the 3rd.
- When there is 1 hat of each color the 4th player may move a colored hat to get 3 in a row.
- divide players among the pawns
- player 1 runs straight ahead but plays the ball off to the right collapsing player 2
- player 2 also runs straight ahead and plays the ball off to the right
- make it more difficult by playing 2 balls at the same time (start opposite each other)
- change direction during the exercise
- pass with a bounce
pay attention to timing start/finish
- Put 3 people on the circle defensively
- Put 1 person in the point offensively
- Put 3 builders and 1 circle player
- Have the builders play pressure and try to attack the circle
- Add enough players to the corner
- 5 attackers and 3 defenders
- The ball starts at the left corner which puts pressure and from there the pressure continues.
- The defenders make considerable contact with the attackers by pushing the hands on the shoulders/ hip.
- The attackers pass in time and keep the ball high.
- When there is not enough defense, the attacker continues.
- Eventually the corner rounds the corner.
- Then the ball goes from the other corner and pressure is played.
- Play ball under pressure from defender.

2: Blue changes from outside to inside. Round off outside.
3: Pilon on drawing to indicate position. Not used during practice.

- The same builder stays put and now rounds.
- 1 person on right buildup, 1 person on left buildup.
- Overplaying at pace, one builder catches the other builder and rounds with a jump shot high.
- Finish in front of the 9 meter line.
- Variation: add a defender.
- 1 player on the right buildup and 1 player on the left buildup.

- Variation with one defender added.
- You put 1 player at the 1 meter, of the 9 meters, at the buildup position.
- Put 3 pawns:
- 1 pawn on the center 2 meters from the 9 meters.
- 2 pawns left and right on the 9 meter line, 3 meters from the middle pawn.
- Player starts in to the right pawn with ball, plays off to the builder.
- Runs backwards around the middle pawn and receives the ball between the 2 pawns.
- Plays the ball back, comes around the middle pawn, gets the ball back and rounds off with a jump shot high.
Everything in high tempo.
