Hockey drills

The team is divided into 2 squads:
  • 1 team to the right of the circle
  • 1 team to the left of the circle

  • One player from each team will stand at the blue pot and on the 23 meter line at the orange pots.
  • The rest of the teams start at the red pots.
  • The ball passes through a push from the red to the blue and from the blue to the orange pots.
  • When the player at the orange potty receives the ball, this player dribbles until he is in the circle and then finishes on goal.

  • When the music stops everyone grabs a ball and goes back to a pylon

  • The top right plays the ball to the dot

  • Top right plays through the bar to bottom right
  • Bottom right plays the ball to bottom left
  • Bottom left plays the ball to top left
  • Top left floats around the pawns and rounds off

Setup
  • We make three teams of 4 players
    • Yellow
    • Blue
    • Green
Exercise
  • The field is from the 23-meter line to the back line.
  • The field is made narrower (pawns just outside the circle)

  • Yellow starts against blue.
  • Green stands ready on the 23-meter line.
  • Yellow scores on the goalkeeper. Blue defends.
  • When blue has taken the ball away they play the ball across the 23-meter line, into the green team's stick.
  • Yellow goes to defend and green attacks.
  • Blue gets ready on the 23-meter line.

This is about quick turnovers. Attacking and defending.
