Hockey drills for technique defense
- A starts with the ball.
- A runs with the ball toward the box and does a passing move around B.
- A passes it and goes around the pawn and does the same at C.
- A drives around the pawns and accelerates to the circle.
- A hits the ball on goal.
- Player A runs toward balls.
- Players B and C towards field of play.
- Player A takes the ball out -saves in.
- Players B and C offer themselves, being covered by the two defenders.
- Player A may make a selfpass.
- Attackers score in the big goal.
- Defenders if they get the ball, score in goal X.
Areas of focus are: quick take, offering, run and play lines, tackleback.
- Half Field.
- In the middle of the half field set out a square with pawns, players are not allowed to walk through it with the ball, but are allowed to walk through it without the ball.
Set a goal; for example:
- First play with your team 4x before you can score.
- Try with at least 3 or more players in the circle to outplay the goalkeeper during the attack. Do not aim for the ball to go straight to goal when you enter the circle but look for the right passing options.
- Try to build up the attack from the sides.
- Always try to have someone at the guard.
- Put a bowl down if the attack threatens to fail.
- You can also say; the ball must go around the back of the box per new attack if they are going to be huge on a bowl.
- -. Or if a goal attempt fails that then the ball must first be taken out of the circle before a new attempt may be made.
Additional difficulty: always enlarge the box if the attack goes well

- A starts with the ball and wants to try to score with his teammates.
- The defenders, who want to keep the axis closed, put pressure when the attackers cross the 23 meter line.

- B and C play and 2:1 against the defender who starts to pressure from the inside.
- When the defender takes the ball he scores in the little goal on the side.
- A and B are going to play over with each other. Before they get the ball, they look to see if there is a fellow player in the box who is free.
- The attackers in the box offer themselves to the two players who are playing over.
- If you have offered yourself and you do not get the ball, you run away again, make room for the other players and come back to offer yourself again later.
- When the ball has come to one of the attackers, a 4:3 is played, if there is no space forward then they play the ball back to A or B and it starts all over again.
- If the defenders take the ball then they score in one of the 2 goals outside the 23 meter area.

- A gives a scoop to B.
- C sees space on the sideline and accelerates that way and gets a hard pass from B.
- C and D play and 2:1 against the defender.
- If the defender takes the ball then she scores in the goaltending on the side.
- Alternate groups.

- Have already thought about what you want to do in advance

- Axis must be tight
- Use the jab to push your opponent to the outside
- Stand in an active stance.
- A starts with the ball and first plays the ball back to B.
- When B has accepted the ball the 3v3 starts and the defenders may start to pressure.
- Tips for the attackers:
- Use the exercise of switching the strikers
- Only play the safe ball
- Remember the 4 squares in the circle
- Tips for the defenders:
- Keep your man in the circle
- Push them to one side
- Always put pressure on the ball (i.e. don't let them shoot)
