Hockey drills
- One ball per pair.
- Pairs are instructed to pass through as many gates as possible in 2 minutes.
- A gate is completed when you pass the ball three times.
- A starts with the ball and runs a bit and passes the ball to B
- B takes possession, runs a short distance and passes to C
- C takes the ball, runs a short distance and passes the ball to A who has passed on
- A takes the ball and runs to the pawns where she makes a passing move
- C runs to the circle and gets the ball back from A
- C rounds on goal
- A has the ball and does over the three pawns and chop
- She then plays a 1 vs 1 against B
- B tries to capture the ball and then drive the ball through the gate on the 23-yard line
- A starts with the ball and sees that the front is very crowded
- Plays the ball back to B, B takes the ball and plays it to C
- C takes the ball open and looks forward and sees D running in there
- C gives a hard pass to D
- D takes the ball on the backhand and rounds at goal
Other side same thing
- Dribbling from A to B.
- Pass to the player who is ready
- Player who delivered the ball sprints toward goal, player with ball plays deep
- Sprinting player hits the goal in the run
- A starts with the ball
- B comes running in and gets the ball from A. B takes the ball strongly and passes it back to A

- B takes the ball and drives toward the box where they play a 1 vs. 1 against A who is ready to defend
- A starts with the ball
- B runs in and gets the ball from A
- B takes the ball strongly and turns away past the pawns. Keep the ball on the stick.
- C runs in and takes the ball strongly.
- B runs through and gets the ball back from C. This may be a rebound as long as it is hard and clean.
Stairs.
- Player blue starts with the ball at the orange pawn.
- Player blue drives the ball toward the red pawn, pulls the ball under him toward the blue pawn and then accelerates briefly with the backhand around the blue pawn.
- You do this movement three times in a row.
- Then you round on goal.
- Depending on the number of players, put the exercise out once or twice.
Pass exercise
- Takeoff
- Looking
- Play
- Touching the ball twice
- Take and play
You play ball possession with your team.
- Keep the ball in your own team
- Create triangles to move the ball around easily
- Party game with two goals and a square in the middle of the field.
- The ball may not be played through the square. In that case the ball is in touch.
- So the idea is to play field hockey outside and not through the axis of the field.
