drawing Large field passing
  • In groups of 3 or 4 on a pole:
    • Player 1 is declarer, player 2 and 3 (or 4) stand around the basket.
    • Player 1 plays player 2, and goes out.
    • Player 2 passes the ball on to player 3 who shoots.
    • Player 2 cuts in to catch the ball.
    • After catching the ball, you play the shooter again, who in turn plays the next player to get a shot, etc.
  • The aim is to move well, and to react well to the rebound action from space.
  • Every 3 players at the basket, 2 attackers and 1 defender:
    • The goal is to get 2 free.
  • Exercise is finished when:
    • There is scored, the defender has the ball, if the ball collides.
  • Always turn in the order A - A - V.
  • If it is a 4-player game, the defender gets a rest turn before entering as attacker.
  • 2 teams each put themselves next to each other in pumping position:
    • The first takes a jar with the left hand and puts it between the 2 arms.
    • Then move it with the right hand next to the other side of the body.
    • The 2nd player repeats this until all pots on the other side of the row are on top of each other.
  • Per player in the row a pot is provided, use a trainer to put a pot ready when the first player has made the displacement of the previous one.
  • 1 declarer, 1 attacker (and a rebounder if 3-player):
  • Attacker runs laterally and gets the ball on the outside:
    • Turn the ball behind your body and play the rebounder who provides the new support. (in a 2-player team again the attacker).
    • Take a walk-through ball.
    • Start behind the basket for a chance.
  • Which basket scores first 15x.
  • Always work left + right laterally.
  • Take 2 shots from motion and 1 walkthrough ball:
    • Intent is to get 21 (or more) with your basket.
  • Scoring a shot counts for 2 points.
  • Scoring a walkthrough ball counts for 1 point.
  • Not hitting a basket means 1 point.
  • If you end up on 11, you have to start again from 0.
  • Work with 3 attackers against 2 defenders on 2 poles:
    • Attackers may try to score on the two posts (end when a goal is scored, when one of the defenders can intercept the ball)
    • Attackers get max 4 passes per chance taken (end when a goal is scored, when one of the defenders can intercept the ball, or when more passes are needed)
    • You may only take 1 chance per basket (ends when a goal is scored, when one of the defenders can intercept the ball, when more passes are needed, at 2 misses)
    • Player who misses may not attack again if the ball remains in play, so the attackers' overtime is gone.
drawing play off overtal in attack
  • Per basket you have the goal to score 75x.
  • Passing ball: 25x.
  • Short chance with intermediate pass: 25x.
  • Penalty throw: 25x.
  • Attacker with ball under the basket, attacker in front of the basket:
  • Attacker starts wide:
    • Gets the ball on the outside, ball is turned around the body, and played in again for a DLB.
    • Without ball inside for deflection, then run in for DLB.
    • When you have the ball, turn it around the body and finish.
    • Attacker takes a shot, then starts in towards the backfield where the ball is played, ball around the body towards DLB. (pass behind the back)
  • Passing to and stepping out of bounds to take the shot.
  • Ditto but jumping in to the shot.
  • Passing to the next player to get the shot.
  • Shooter with his back to the declarer, declarer shouts 'YES' and plays to the shooter.
  • Idem, but this time playing next to the archer to jump in.

  • Depending on the number of players per basket, the assignments may change:
    • per 2 it is simply 1 against 1, and your goal is to be the first to get 3 points.
    • Per 3, we have shooter 1 who does the assignment, if passed, both opponents must undo the point.
    • If only one of the opponents completes the counter mission, the shooter gets 1 point. If none of the opponents completes the counter mission, the shooter gets 2 points.
    • Your goal is to be the first to get 4 points.
  • Make 2 out of 5 distance shots (6 m.);
    • Then you get one chance of 4 m.
    • Which you must score to earn a point.
    • Your opponent can undo this point by also scoring the 4 m. chance.
  • score 3 out of 5 short chances (4 m.);
    • then score 2 penalty shots (out of 2) to earn a point.
    • Your opponent can undo this by scoring both penalty shots as well.
  • Score 2 out of 5 shots from behind the basket (5 m.);
    • then score 3 walk-throughs (out of 3 chances) to earn a point.
    • Your opponent can undo this by also scoring 3 walk-through balls.
  • score 1 of 5 distance shots (8 m.);
    • then score 3 out of 4 chances under the basket.
    • Your opponent can undo this by scoring 3 out of 3 chances under the basket 2.
  • Make up 2/3 teams and do the following assignments:
    • Pass balls
    • Dropping balls (short distance)
    • Penalty throw
    • Distance shots (minimum 6 meters)
  • Do all this for 2 minutes per person per task and write down the number of points you have scored.
