Korfball drills for technique attack / score

Walk straight to the basket.

Place your right foot slightly to one side, bend your knees and then step out to the left.

Make a 90-degree angle to the left.

When throwing the ball to the net, make a cross pass and then come out on the outside leg.

Take the ball with spread fingers, so that you can shoot directly.

The cross passes with one leg in front of the other. At the same time you turn your body towards the basket.

Make a pass to the side or slightly backwards and turn the body further in, so that the body is facing the basket.

Attention !

Your shoulders are straight towards the basket.

Your feet are straight towards the basket.

You process the shot like we discussed in the previous section on shot from stand.

Play a game of 2-on-2 with one attacker under the post. The attackers can play each other but also the free person under the basket, the free person is only attacker and defender. Let the attackers attack for 3 x 45 seconds and then swap the attackers and the defenders. To add an element of competition you can count the goals.

Player 1 stands under the post, players 2, 3 and 4 play around the basket.

At some point, player 1 moves away from under the post, the player who has the ball at that moment passes to player 1 and player 1 shoots.

The player to the left of the one who passed the ball catches it and passes to any other player. This player switches roles with player 1

1 attacker and 1 defender in front of the post.

Attacker starts 5-6 m from the post, attacker gets 3 goal attempts to score a goal.

If he succeeds, he switches to the passer and the defender stays. If he succeeds, the attacker becomes the defender, the passer becomes the attacker and the defender becomes the passer.

  • 2 posts facing each other.
  • Shooter with defender.
  • May pass 1x before defender steps in.
  • Then defender jumps in or allows shot.
  • When a goal is scored, at a good rebound or at good step out, rebounder becomes attacker otherwise, the defender becomes attacker.
  • This happens on the opposite post.
  • 3 people at the post.
  • 1 versus 1 with shot, walk-through and short chance to score.
  • After 30 sec, 1 of the attackers becomes the new defender.
  • The attacker remains the same.
  • This way the defender can close a full box for 30 sec and the attacker is well challenged.

You try to get to the highest level in the 1-1 as fast as possible. When you reach a level you will go straight on with another defender.

  • 2 posts opposite to each other at about the distance in the game.

  • He/she throws the ball to a player who runs to the other post.
  • This player makes a ball, catches it and gives it to the next player.
