Korfball drills

  • Pawns at 1,2,4,6,8 meter.
  • 2 shot chances per pawn, if both miss 1 pawn forward.
  • Change after 10 shots.
  • Who comes the furthest in x minutes.
  • Each pair a basket and a ball.
  • One of the two teams has a ribbon on his head.
  • So you have a team with and a team without a ribbon.
  • One player is the shooter and the other the catcher.
  • Alternately a player with a ribbon and a player without a ribbon stand under the basket.
  • We all start shooting at the same time.
  • When a goal is scored, you change places.
  • The team that is first under the basket has won.
  • So if all players with/without a ribbon are under the basket, you've won.
  • 4 posts in a square.
  • 4 attackers.
  • 1 attacker.
  • 3 defenders.
  • The attacker must find the free post.
  • The defenders must therefore make it as difficult as possible and communicate.
  • Variants:
    • Only through balls.
    • Only shots.
    • x number of goals etc.
drawing 1 Attacker, 3 Defenders
  • Players run one after the other in a "train" around the poles.
  • The last player tries to get in front.
  • If he succeeds, the next player goes.
  • Players continue until everyone has come from the back to the front.
  • First round at an easy pace.
  • Second round faster pace.
  • 2 poles opposite each other.
  • Each pole has its own 2/3 team.
  • The two players who are going for a walk-through walk towards the other pole.
  • In the middle they circle each other.
  • The players sprint back to their own goalposts and make a turnover.

Variations

  • Instead of a through ball, a dodge ball.
  • Instead of a through ball, a pull-away ball behind the post.
  • If necessary, post to post, whoever scores X number of goals first.
  • Shot game in 2 form playing against the other baskets.
  • One of the two will shoot, when 2 times they score.
  • Call to your coach: Are you the fastest, then you have won and there is exchanged,
  • But not yet in possession of a point.
  • You earn a point if your partner is also the fastest to score twice.
  • So you earn a point if you win twice in a row.
  • Variation is possible by means of penalty throws, walkthroughs, number of goals, etc.
  • Two numbers:
    • Who scores the most laps?
  • Number 1 is going to shoot, number 2 is going to catch.
  • The number 1 starts in front of the basket and will shoot 1 time on each side of the basket. (front, right, back, left)
  • If the number 1 shoots 50% of these 4 chances, he/she may start a new round.
  • The number 1 counts how many rounds he/she makes.
  • When not 2 of the 4 chances are hit, then there must be changed.
  • After 5 to 10 minutes, the player who has made the most rounds is the winner!
  • Too difficult:
    • Score once per round.
  • Variation:
    • Start the first round at 2 meter, then at 4, 6, 8 and 10 meter.
drawing Wheel of Fortune
  • Per pole with 2 or 3 participants you start with 20 balls which are indicated from the space.
  • When 20 have been scored you and your pole continue with the next exercise.
  • 10 distance shots from the spot.
  • Scored?
  • Move on to 10 dodge balls.
  • Each team has to score these goals.

  • 2 or more players per pole.
  • Player 1 starts at 1 meter of the basket with shooting he/she will shoot 1 out of 2.
  • Every time you hit the target, you move back one meter.
  • If you miss at a certain distance twice in a row, the next one goes.
  • Goal from 1 meter 1 point, 2 meter 2 points, 3 meter 3 points etc.
  • Total 50 points per pole.
  • Make it more difficult by going up to 100 points etc.
  • Each player gets his own pipsack.
  • They are told an action by the trainer, which they perform.
  • This can be touching your head, sitting down and standing up quickly, etcetera.
  • As soon as Yes is called (or another action word), the piping bag can be taken.
  • Players stand next to each other.
  • The ball is thrown to player 2 and player 1 runs after it until halfway and inside.
  • Player 2 throws the ball at the moment he/she thinks the other player can make a good run through.
  • Player 1 finishes it.
  • 1 attacker and 1 defender.
  • The attacker stands a few metres away. (A distance where you practice to shoot far)
  • The defender stands at the basket.
  • As soon as the attacker throws the ball to the defender, the defender can run and try to defend.
