Korfball drills

You play the old fashioned game of loafing. You play in the formation shown below. One pylon is always empty. The attackers have to occupy the empty pylon by running free. In the middle stands the loafer. He tries to intercept the ball by making a smart move. It is not allowed to cross at an angle.

  • At the Chaos game the goal is that each child has a ball, and that there are 3 or 4 poles (also depending on the number of players)

  • Each player starts at the same pole,

  • If they score, they may move one pole,
  • If they don't score, they remain at the post until they have scored.
  • You can decide beforehand whether they should pass each pole 1, 2 or 3 times, depending on the level.
  • Variation: you can use cones to mark a circle outside which the players have to shoot,
  • They are only allowed to enter the circle to catch the ball.
  • The materials below are for 4 people (hat = pawn)
  • 2 teams of 3 players.
  • One team throws to each other by running free.

  • The one who gets 3 first wins.
  • At 2,5 meter distance from the post stands a pawn.
  • From there the players make an underhand penalty throw.
  • First practice a few times and then see who scored 10 first.
  • There are two players per pole.
  • There are 6 pawns next to the pole, each at a distance of 2 metres.
  • When they have scored, they can move one pawn backwards, when they miss, they stand as catcher.
  • And when it is their turn again they start all over again.
  • The poles are 8 meters apart,

  • Between two poles she has to sprint and between the next two poles she has to jog.
