Volleyball drills
- 2 rows of players
- 1 row on the left back
- 1 row at the right back
- create with 4 pawns a virtual line where they have to stand behind
- trainer stands at the other side of the net and throws the ball somewhere in the field.
- 1 of the 2 front rows calls LOS orIK (agree on that)
- this player passes the ball over the net to the other (who did not call loose)
- player who has caught the ball puts it in the bin.
- Everyone on a line with the ball between their feet.
- always jump with the ball between your legs
- Variant 1:
- jump with 2 legs towards another line
- variant 2:
- do 1 jump forward
- turn half a turn
- do 1 jump backwards
- turn half a turn, etc.
- Variant 3:
- put pawns/hats down and let them zigzag
- move sideways (face forward)
- make it a competition
pairs
- players stand opposite each other about 2-6 meter apart (players determine the distance)
- player 2 hits the ball to player 1
- player 1 returns the ball with reception
- player 2 gives a set-up to player 1
- player 1 hits the ball
- player 2 returns ball in reception
- player 1 sets up player 2
- etc

- Trainer throws the ball,
- player forms a circle with arms through which the ball must fall.
- Players walk with the ball bouncing through the room
- and must try to knock off the balls of the other players along the way.
- The one who is left has won.
- Players are given ribbons in knee pads and must try to take each other's ribbons.
- When a player loses a ribbon, the trainer will give him a new one.
- Who has collected the most ribbons, has won.
- Goal: sit low.
Team 2
: One player sits on the ground with legs wide and has the ball.
The other player is standing.
- The sitting player rolls the ball 1x along the left leg and the standing player taps the ball back.
- After this the ball goes past the right leg and the standing player moves with closing pass to this ball and taps it back.
- This way from left to right on a good tempo.
- Player A throws ball over the net.
- Player B or C passes ball to other player
- The other player quickly runs to the net and sets up the ball for the same player who passed.
- This player tries to get a pawn off the bench with overhand play or a hitting move.
- Change after 5 balls

- This player passes the ball into the basket on the players spot.
- At the basket stands a catcher who brings the ball to the trainer in the basket.
- The player who passes runs after the ball.
- Catch a round for the next one
- If you did not have the ball, join the shortest row.
- Player A throws ball over the net.
- Player B or C passes the ball over the net.
- The other player quickly runs under the net and sets up the ball for the same player who passed.
- This player tries to get a pawn off the bench with overhand play or a hitting move.
Which pair or team has knocked the most pawns off the bench after X number of minutes?
On your own:
- Throwing the ball straight up above your head. Using legs and arms. Catch the ball.
- Keep the ball in the air, it doesn't matter how. Let's get it warm.
- Play the ball 5x (or more) with overhand technique
- Play 5x (or more) the ball with underhand technique
Per 2 players:
- 10x throwing and catching the ball with overhand technique
- Throw the ball correctly 10 times, the other player plays it back overhand. And vice versa
- Pass the ball correctly 10 times, the other player returns underhand. Vice versa.
Play the ball overhead:
- Throw the ball from above your head using arm and legs straight up. Catch the ball.
- Keep your hands above your head at all times
- Catch the ball
- arms 'spring in
- and throw/play straight up by stretching arms
- etc
