Trainer throws balls

  1. Sv plays set-up
  2. Attackers attack over the net. Go and get the ball. On the other side of the net
  3. Place ball in ballcarrier
    • Also perform with set-up to position 2
    • Also perform with alternating set-up to position 2 and position 4.
  4. Trainer throws 6 balls on different spots.
  5. Sv must always return to home position.

  1. Pass the ball from pos 6 to pos 3.
  2. Run in, turn + set-up to pos 4, then cover.
  3. Idem but set-up to pos 2
  4. Idem but on pos 6 first CT, then play the ball forward and now after turning in play a jumped set-up.

Three balls per two players.

  1. Throw your own ball and catch it again.
    • Third ball is tested over and over again
  2. Same as in jump pass

  1. One ball touch. other ball roll
  2. One ball pass, other ball collide
  3. One ball push. throw other ball
  4. Idem 1) and 2) but with jumped set-up


set-up-exercise-1

  • Serve in pairs over the net from the (back) line.
    • If necessary divide over 2 fields.
    • Distribute the hoops on one side of the net.
  • Child with ball in serving position, other stands in a hoop on the other side.
  • If the ball can be caught without stepping out of the hoop, the hoop is won.
  • After each serve change position, until there are no more hoops.
  • Which team collects the most hoops?

  • 2 rows of players
    • 1 row on the left back
    • 1 row at the right back
  • Create with 4 pawns a virtual line where they must stand behind
  • Trainer stands at the other side of the net and throws the ball somewhere in the field
  • One of the two front row players calls LOS orI (let's agree)
  • This player passes the ball over the net to the previous player.
  • Catch a round for the next player
  • If you did not have the ball, join the shortest row

  • Players spread out on 1 half of the field.
  • Trainer or player hits underhand with a high ball.
  • From that moment on the ball may not touch the ground.
  • Watching:
    • Loose call
    • Technique.
  • Make it more difficult by using the other part of the field as well.

  • A and A1 play their ball to SV1 and SV2 at the same time.
  • SV high ball.
  • SV1 & 2 exchange places + pas s to the corner, where A & A1 attack.
  • SV, Block on attack from A & A1.


Intention is to load the playmakers. Pass to position 4.

  • Players start on the three-metre line in pairs facing each other.
  • One player has the ball.
  • At 6 meters from the net there is a cone behind each player.
  • Players do a control key and then pass the ball over the net.
  • Then they run around the cone behind them.
  • The same, but after passing the ball they dive to the cone and get ready again.
  • Player does a control key, turns around and keys the ball backwards over the net.
  • Then he does a block and returns to his home position.
  • Per trio.
  • Player A does the control key and plays the ball over the net.
  • Player B does reception, C stands at the net and taps the ball high over, then he dives through B's legs and they switch places.
  • Players play two against two.
  • Each time the ball is over, they walk over to the other side of the net and join in behind.
  • The goal is to keep the ball in play as long as possible.
  • If a team makes a mistake, they have to dive to the other side.

Across the field do the following exercises repeat everything 2 times.

  • Loose arms in a dribble, forwards and backwards.
  • Toes in, toes out.
  • Hopping.
  • High jump.
  • Bounce, make very small skipping movements.
  • Knee hugs.
  • Lift your knee.
  • Lateral knee lifts.
  • Hopscotch, fast hopscotch.
  • Skater, skating movements.
  • Volleyball shuffle, left and right.
  • Sumo shuffle, kind of jumping jack but sideways.
  • Karaoke, cross passes but the leg that goes in front over the other leg goes up.
  • Backwards hip rotation, hip rotation from the inside to the outside and stepping out backwards in a lunge.
  • All team members line up and run in circles around the room.
  • Every time the trainer blows the whistle, the person in the back must run forward.
  • This continues until everyone has run forward once.
