Volleyball drills
- 1 player stands in the field and gets 10 balls from the trainer.
- Balls must at least be touched but the focus is on quick movement, being ready and passing overhead/underhand. (trainer makes sure balls can be hit).
- Other players stand around the field and make sure balls get to the trainer.
- And of course encourage the player who is doing the exercise.
- Ball route:
- Player 1 serves to player 3.
- 3 passes the ball on 2/3 to player 4.
- Player 4 gives set-up.
- Player 3 comes for the attack.
- He hits straight ahead or diagonally.
- Agree on beforehand.
- Server (player 1) defends this ball.
- Walking route:
- After player 1 serves, player 2 serves.
- Player 3 and 4 exchange tasks.
- When one side has served twice (player 1 and 2).
- Player 3 and 4 start serving.
- Player 1 and 2 attack and defend.
- 2 on 2, each side passes, gives a setup and then an attack behind the 3 meter line.
- The game is played on the whole field.
- The ball is introduced through an overhand service from the field (the ball must return to the field quickly, so serve directed at a defender where the ball lands).
- Serve target:
- Player 1 serves 3 good balls to the 2 passers (player 2 and player 3).
- 2 and 3 pass the ball to player 4.
- The ball that is caught is rolled to the server.
- When there have been 3 passes, the system is continued:
- Player 1 starts passing.
- Player 2 continues to pass.
- Player 3 is going to catch.
- Player 4 is going to serve.
- A player is at work. (player 4)
- The other 3 players are lined up in different corners of the field. (see drawing)
- They make sure that the player can defend balls.
- Every time a player is down, it is the next player's turn.
- The exercise is carried out on one half of the field.
- Player 1 smashes into player 4, player 2 gives a short ball, player 3 smashes.
- After 3 balls we rotate one place:
- Player 4 to position player 2.
- Player 2 to position player 1.
- Player 1 to position player 3.
- Player 3 to position player 1.
- Throwing the ball over the fence with pairs, overhead and underhand, meanwhile moving sideways:
- Each pair a minimum of 6 times throwing and moving the ball sideways - 2 rounds.
- Each pair to play the ball overhand at least 6 times - 4 rounds.
- Each pair to play the ball underhand a minimum of 6 times - 4 rounds.
- Each pair to play the ball with one arm at least 6 times - 1 round.
- When everything is over, start again until it's time.
- Training for upping
- At position 4 (outside attack) korfball pole with hooptied . (with sturdy velcro)
- Upper at position 2get ready. (lay down dot)
- Reserve uppers in a line on position.
- Trainer at position 5, throws the ball to upper.
- He picks up the ball through the hoop.
- Behind that, an attacker is ready to catch the ball and puts it in the trainer's ballcar.
- Catch is in the line at position 6.
- Upper is going to catch.
- Variation:
- Uppercut back to outside position.
- Throw the ball from the other side and pass to position 2.
- Have the distributor step in from position 1.
- Points of attention when upping:
- Getting under the ball, the ball should fall on your forehead.
- Hands in the shape of the ball (make sure the hands are not too far to the side; like catching an inu)
- Right foot more forward than the left.
- Face towards position 4.
- At ball contact, slightly bend the knees and push out the ball, stretching the legs.
- When playing, the ball must remain in front of the upper. (Be careful not to arch your back)
- When uppercutting backwards, bend the back along with the uppercut.
- The important thing is that each 2 team is serious about the drill, and really training each other.
- Doubles play OH, using the benches as a net.
- OH, replay.
- Player 1 throws the ball on close to the bench, after the pass (by player 2), player 2 runs to the back line, taps it, and comes in again.
- Player 1 throws the ball at the backline, after the pass (by player 2), player 2 runs to the bench, taps it and back.
- Same as the first exercise, but player 1 tries to OH the ball 2/3 times himself, and then pass to player 2.
- Player 1 standing on the bench:
- Throwing the ball overhead, a bit harder and tighter if possible. Player 2 tries to pass the ball back.
- Also in motion, shuffle backwards.
- 6-team plays a game against 4/5 team:
- Team 6 takes care of rotation with SV.
- Opponent 4/5 defends and attacks.
- Main point:
- The pass must be good.
- Short/long.
- Trainer throws balls to the 3 meter line. (positions A + B)
- Player 1 passes the short ball and runs to the middle.
- Player 3 comes in to play the ball.
- Then trainer switches to the other side.

- Player 1 now goes for the ball on the other side.

- 3 encourage.
- After 10 balls switch groups.
- 2 trainers available?
- 1 trainer makes sure the player in the middle does not cheat by starting too fast. (and keep him/her in the middle).
